If they participate with their own pianist, the latter is coached by a professional pianist; for singers who register without a pianist, the professional pianist acts as accompanist. Two or three lieders are worked on during the day, and for the concert each singer\/duo chooses one lied in consultation with the tutors to perform prior to the tutors' recital. This year, the tutors\/performers are Jan-Willem Schaafsma (tenor) and Phyllis Ferwerda (piano). On Sunday afternoon, 25 October, following the short supporting programme, they will perform part of their programme <em>Was weiss ich davon?<\/em>, with works by Strauss, Duparc and the cycle lied <em>Dichterliebe<\/em> by Schumann.<\/p><p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The masterclass will be held at the familiar location on the Groot Hertoginnelaan.
