    De formule: zes gevorderde amateurduo\u2019s of -zangers worden een dag gecoacht door twee musici van Vrienden van het Lied en treden enkele weken later op in het (voor)programma van hun docenten.<\/p>

    De masterclass van het project vond dit jaar plaats op 19 september, met twee buitengewoon inspirerende musici als docenten: tenor Jan-Willem Schaafsma en pianiste Phyllis Ferwerda. Zij zouden op 25 oktober in het HaagsPianoHuis met hun cursisten optreden, maar helaas moest Jan-Willem Schaafsma een dag tevoren wegens een zware verkoudheid afzeggen.<\/p>

    Gelukkig kwam de redding in de persoon van Jan Willem Baljet. Dankzij hem kon er die middag toch geluisterd worden naar Schumanns Dichterliebe<\/em>, waarin het repertoire van de negen cursisten liefdevol was opgenomen: Ron en Winfried met Bei einer Linde<\/em> van Ethel Smyth, Ed en Corien met Violon<\/em> van Francis Poulenc, Marijke en Jacob met Automne<\/em> van Gabriel Faur\u00e9, Paul en Jelle met Denn es gehet <\/em>van Johannes Brahms, Marianne (begeleid door Phyllis) met Tr\u00e4ume<\/em> van Richard Wagner en Winfried met Fahrt zum Hades<\/em> van Franz Schubert (eveneens begeleid door Phyllis). Daarmee werd het geheel een soort Dichterliebe<\/em>-plus, en de verbindende teksten die Phyllis schreef, maakten er \u00e9\u00e9n verhaal van. Het publiek luisterde ademloos naar dit sprookje en na afloop was er niets dan lof: voor de professionals, voor de cursisten en voor de bijzondere vorm die Phyllis voor dit concert had bedacht.<\/p>

    Toen ik enkele jaren geleden het concept van In het voorprogramma van\u2026<\/em> opperde, had ik niet kunnen voorzien dat het idee z\u00f3 zou aanslaan. Het was destijds mijn droom dat het project een aantal jaren \u2018op tournee\u2019 door Nederland zou gaan. Inmiddels hebben zich al enkele regio\u2019s gemeld die mogelijk belangstelling hebben voor de organisatie van een volgende editie en door een aantal deelnemers van dit jaar werd al gevraagd of ze een volgende keer weer kunnen meedoen. Het heeft er dus alle schijn van dat In het voorprogramma van\u2026<\/em>een blijvertje is!<\/p>
