She studied with Hanneke Kaasschieter and Jard van Nes and took master classes with Montserrat Caball\u00e9, Raoul Gimenez, Elly Ameling, Petra Lang and at the Salzburg Mozarteum with Edith Wiens, among others.<\/p><p>At the International Vocal Competition in \u2019s-Hertogenbosch, Maartje Rammeloo received the Staetshuys Fund Prize and she won the 1<sup>e<\/sup> prize at the Erna Spoorenberg Competition. After this, she was a prize winner at the famous Hans Gabor Belved\u00e8re Competition and was in the finals of the Montserrat Caball\u00e9 Competition in Zaragoza and the Wilhelm Stenhammer Competition in Sweden.<\/p><p>Maartje Rammeloo sings roles as Pamina <em>(Die Zauberfl\u00f6te)<\/em>, Marzelline <em>(Fidelio)<\/em> and Lucy <em>(The Telephone)<\/em> at opera houses such as the Aalto Theatre in Essen, festival Aix-en-Provence and G\u00f6tenborg Opera. In the Netherlands, Maartje Rammeloo appeared, among others, as Comtesse Ad\u00e8le <em>(Le comte Ory)<\/em>, Cunegonde <em>(Candide)<\/em> at the Nederlandse Reisopera and Pr\u00eatresse <em>(Iphig\u00e9nie and Tauride)<\/em> at the National Opera, where she worked with director Pierre Audi and conductor Marc Minkowski with his Musiciens du Louvre. After this, she was invited back to Amsterdam as the first Blumenm\u00e4dchen in Wagner's <i>Parsifal<\/i> and as <i>understudy<\/i> for the title role in Donizetti's <i>Lucia di Lammermoor<\/i>.<\/p><p>Besides these operatic engagements, Maartje is also in great demand as a soloist on the concert stage. In versatile repertoire from Bach to Bernstein, she has worked with conductors such as James Gaffigan, Markus Stenz, Skip Semp\u00e9, Jac van Steen, Tom\u00e1\u0161 Netopil and Anthony Hermus.<\/p><p>At the audition in October 2019, she, along with pianist <a href=\"https:\/\/vvhl.nl\/en\/mark-van-nispen\/\">Mark van Nispen<\/a>, admitted to the list of musicians of Friends of Song.
