Artur Rożek (baritone) and Martijn Van Sas (piano)

This recital is a special collaboration, on the initiative of the Friends of the Song, between song duo Artur Rozek and Martijn van Sas, muZIEum Nijmegen, artist Judy Van Meteren and concert hall De Vereeniging.

The muZIEum in Nijmegen shares with its visitors the experience of seeing and not (or only partly) seeing. Artist Judy van Meteren created the exhibition Look & Feel, in which all-white paintings may be touched by the audience. Some of these paintings will be present in the concert hall on 10 November. 
Baritone Artur Rozek and pianist Martijn van Sas created a song recital inspired by the subjects Judy chose for her paintings. They will perform songs by Schubert, Schumann, Wolf and Eisler, among others.

After the concert, you can talk to some of the muZIEum staff who can tell you like no other what it is like to be blind or visually impaired.

Members have free admission to this concert on presentation of their membership card when they report to the centre box office at Concertgebouw de Vereeniging. This box office is open from 14:00 - 15:00.
