But also with a song composed especially for this programme by Dutch composer Joost Kleppe to lyrics by Vasalis, who was a friend of Edna Millay. Edna's love of Paris and the French language -and Baudelaire in particular- are reflected in songs by Ernest Chausson and Henri Sauget.
