Jeroen Sarphati studied piano with Jan Wijn and song accompaniment with Rudolf Jansen at the Amsterdam Conservatory of Music. He took master classes from singers such as Barbara Bonney and Robert Holl and from song accompanists such as Hartmut Höll and Irwin Gage. He was winner of the Vriendenkrans of the Concertgebouw in 1997 with Valerie Guillorit and in 2001 with Mattijs van de Woerd.
Jeroen Sarphati has given recitals in such important venues as the Beurs van Berlage, the Brussels Muntschouwburg and the Hermitage in St Petersburg. He is in great demand as a pianist, vocalist accompanist and festival pianist.
