Sofia Vasheruk studies piano with Mikhail Markov at the ArtEZ Conservatory of Music in Enschede. Together with Daniel Hermán Mostert she won the Friends of Song prize at the first edition of the International Student Lied Duo Competition in Enschede in 2009.
In 2010, she won first prize at the fourth International Andre Dumortier Competition in Belgium and made it to the semi-finals of the Queen Elisabeth Competition in Brussels. She also won several prizes at piano competitions in Moscow and Naples.
Sofia Vasheruk plays diverse piano repertoire and performs both solo and in ensemble.
