L'affaire Dreyfus in The Hague

On Sunday, February 1, an adventurous recital sounded in The Hague: soprano Ellen Valkenburg and pianist Maurice Lammerts van Bueren took the audience into a piece of history around 1900 in ‘L'affaire Dreyfus’, as a capstone for some of the most beautiful liederen from that era.

Golda Schultz and Jonathan Ware at Concertgebouw

A journey through nocturnal thoughts: soprano Golda Schultz and pianist Jonathan Ware's Dark Matters programme features works by Clara Schumann and Florence Price, as well as Richard Strauss's Vier letzte Lieder and Crumb's cycle Apparition.
