Journeys End in Lovers’ Meeting

Vincent Kusters, baritone
Charlie Bo Meijering, piano

After winning the first Young Artist Platform of the International Song Festival Zeist in 2021, Vincent and Charlie Bo were invited to perform a concert in both the upcoming Zeist festival and the Oxford Lieder Festival. In 2022, the theme of the latter festival was ‘Friendship in song’. This theme inspired them to put together a programme highlighting the friendship within the composer's circle of artists and those involved in the creation and performance of his songs. Think of the composer's friendship with the poet, with the performers and with other composers.
